The Another Brothers explore new and classic Americana in the brother duet tradition. Featuring the picking and singing talents of Jack Dwyer (mandolin, guitar, vocals) and Nathan Royal (guitar, vocals), these two gentlemen pay tribute to musical duos like the Everlys, the Monroes, and the Louvins with new and classic songs from the vast and varied canon of American roots music.
Jack Dwyer and Nathan Royal met in their childhood home of Anchorage Alaska while they were teaching at the folk music camp, Alaska City Folk Arts. For many years they continued to teach at the same camp every summer, playing as much music as they could in the short week they were together. Now, many years later, they have finally created The Another Brothers. This project provides the perfect opportunity to explore their unique vocal blend balanced by virtuosic instrumental interplay.
