2019 Spring Update

Hey all,
Hope your 2019 is off to a good start. Don’t know about you, but mine has been flying by! (As evidenced by my lack of posts so far this year). So I figured it’d be good to check in and let you know what’s up.

2019 So Far:

Kicked things off in January with a wonderful week-long tour of Arizona opening for Matt and Rebekah Rolland. (My first time ever in Arizona!) Played The Bellingham Folk Festival with my new Seattle-based bluegrass band, and showcased at the Wintergrass Festival. I’m calling us the Castle Hillbillies for now but we still don’t have an officially agreed upon name… suggestions? Sat in with the Warren G. Hardings of Seattle, WA as we opened for Front Country at a very snowy sold-out show at the Fremont Abbey. I just recently returned from a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area – where I performed at PianoFight, and sat in on couple gigs: with my friends Trouble Town at Kezar Bar and Restaurant and The Bow Ties, at Amnesia.

Looking forward to all of the music I’ll make in 2019. Here’s a preview:

The Keg and I

Mondays at the Keg and I are ongoing – come by any Monday from 5 – 7 pm to see me and a rotating cast of guests from around the Sound and beyond. Check the schedule for more info.

Monthly Shows

I’ll also be starting up a few monthly gigs on the Peninsula including First Wednesdays at The Ajax Cafe, Third Fridays at Finnriver, and Second and Fourth Tuesdays at The Valley Tavern. Again, please check the schedule for more info.

Fall Rumblings

Keep your ears open for some new music! I am tempted to gush but for now I’ll just say that I’ve been working on something for quite a while now and it’s almost done! (I think, haha). It’s called Over The Sea.
